Welcome to LeaderboardLive. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them.

1. The Service

LeaderboardLive provides real-time golf tournament scoring and leaderboard software. You create tournaments, invite players, and track results. Players do not need an account — only the tournament organizer does.

2. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@leaderboardlive.io.

3. Credits and Payments

LeaderboardLive uses a credit system. One credit ($100) unlocks a single tournament for up to 28 players. The first round of any tournament is free — no credit required.

• Credits are non-refundable once applied to a tournament.
• Unused credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase — contact support.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Prices are in USD and subject to change with notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything illegal or harmful
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the service to harass or harm other people

5. Your Data

You own the tournament data you create. We store it securely to provide the service. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep LeaderboardLive online and working, especially during tournament season. However, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

LeaderboardLive is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
